They say that humans design since the moment they become aware of the notion of death. In between present and past, in this slit, this tiny gap, is the space where, as Hannah Arendt puts it, everyone seeks their orientation.
We design by projecting future situations. Everyone in their own way designs their future. Some, in fact, decide to specialize in design and turn design into their profession, designing “for” but also “with” Others.
A collection of experiences on how we design together, how we co-exist, while we co-create. This is all about co-designing not as a utopia or a model that justifies any designing attitude, but as a tool/way/method, that fragments/distributes/dissolves the problems that are part and parcel of this admittedly very rich way of design.
Could you share your own narration -around 100 words- or record them in a short video?
That way we can co-write, based on our individual experiences, a collective map exploring how, with what tools we co-design and how, during this togetherness, we design our own self as part of a group.
All narratives will participate in a co-writing map on co-desing for #ThisIsACo_op, the Greek participation at the 15th International Architecture Exhibition La Biennale di Venezia 2016 with title “Reporting From The Front”.
